Rev. Blues
REV. BLUES was formed in the summer of 2000 by changing its
name and style. What started out as somewhat of a joke has now
become a full time ministry. The idea started out with a song
entitled "Adam and Eve Had the Blues." One Sunday morning
when the band formerly known as Isaiah 61 was wrapping up
praise & worship they decided to publicly present the song for
the first time. The band was surprised to see the reactions of the
people as the song was received very well. After the service a
man approached the band and asked, "what's the name of the
blues band?” Well, at that point there really wasn't a blues band.
So the man commented "Tony's a reverend and he's
playing the blues. Perhaps the band should be called "Reverend
Blues." And that's how it all got started... |
